I have just moved to the US a little over a year ago . Until recently I had never really seen much American football. Not very popular in Europe as you can imagine. But since I've been hear it's the one sport all Americans seem to love. I started following the Gators last year after watching the Tennesse game. They were very exciting to watch and I been a fan since then. So I guess this makes me a new fan since I've never even see no college football until last year. This is a pretty cool web site. I was born a Gator and love to know other people who actually bleed Orange nd Blue. It takes a little long to load, that may have to do with all of the animations. Although, I do love the

Hey great site. I hope you did not visit my measely page. I wrote reality in the where I am from because you just have to know that Georgia is going to beat you in your own state. Ha ha. I just got to watch the Dawgs for the first time this season yesterday--I hope we don't play like that against Auburn and your Gators. I don't know if you saw any of the game but those Vandy d linemen crushed Bobo a couple of times. I don't know if was the astroturf or what but they sure shook him up. I did get to see the Gators play Auburn--great game! I went to the UGA-UF game in Athens in 95--bad day for the Dawgs. Do you know why it is that the game is either played in the Swamp or at the ""neutral"" site of Jacksonville? When I was going to UGA and learned that the game I saw was the first time the Gators had been to Athens in something like 60 years I did not believe it, but I guess it is true. Do you know why. Anyway, hopefully they will show the Dawgs beat the Gators out here on TV--we usually get some crap-10 game. Cal and USC or something like that. Yesterday we got Cal State Northridge and Montana State, what a shootout that was. Anyway, great site.

Your pre-game outlook was nearly right. Johnson did throw a lot and then the put in Brandise. The problem was that the Dawgs cought four of those passes, and then Johnson was back in, and then Palmer was in, and then the clock ran out. Great web site I checked it out earlier in the season also. Hope you prediction is correct on the game. I agree that FSU schedule is weak but I do not think that they are weak. They get so many great athletes and if you listen to SOS he can't understand why. Personally, and I have heard this before, one of the reasons FSU recruits so well is FAMU. Pretty good site. I am a Seminole Fan though, but have a brother in law who is a Gator Fan. We watch all the games together. Recently I have had more to cheer about in the Spurrier Era. I think you should not hate people that you dont really know though. Both schools have fine assets. BUT, the record is 26-14. Noone can touch FLORIDA football teams.

I really like your website! Like the others, this is the ultimate name for a GREAT GATOR website!!

I came to Jacksonville Florida 5 years ago after a22 year career in the Marines. I didn't have much enthusiasm for college football till I got here. I worked with some Gator grad engineers, and once I went to the Swamp, it was all over!! The Gators are the greatest! Being a Gator Fan is as close as it comes to the tremendous pride of being a Marine! The National Championship in 96 was the best! I love Steve Spurrier! He is the genius of football. The more 'they' criticize him the more I respect him!

Growing up in Tallahassee and having all that Nole crap force fed to me really pissed me off around 4th grade and I have been a loyal Gator Fan ever since. Just wanted to let you know that on your listings of the 1998 and thr 1999 football schedules, you have us playing Florida State in Tallahassee back to back. Now we do play them in Tallahassee this season (1998), but we get them in the Swamp of no return in 1999. Just thought you might want to correct that little bit of info on your schedule. Man what a season it will be to have season tickets next year with Tennessee, Alabama, and FSU all coming to get their ass whooped. This year I envision a slight payback for our neighbors just north in Georgia and definitely against LSWho when they hit Gainesville. Look for us to go 10-0 and head into unchartered territory in Joke Shamble Stadium where spurrier will claim his first victory there ever. It could be in the cards for UF to have 3 Nat'l Championships by the time 1999 season is over. Write this down and contact me after the 1999 season so that I can say I told you so. Thanks. I would only say Michigan and the big 10 better learn what Nebraska had to learn. Get Florida college speed. Our team speed would have killed them. I will say Florida is a fine University, that would have beaten Michigan. They cried about the sentimental vote for Osborne. What about Beno Cook crying for Michigan, because they have not one in 50 years its their turn.

Bobby Bowden and Steve Spurrier died and went to heaven. St. Peter was waiting for them as they approached the Pearly Gates. "Come on in, boys. There is something special for you inside!" He had worked hard all his life, lived fastidiously, gone to church every Sunday, and this was his reward?

Coach Bowden looked off into the distance and up on a beautiful hill was a glorious mansion. There were beautiful flowers, fountains, gardens, swans and geese on a pond, and a huge Gators banner over the front door. In fact, all the windows were stained glass with the words "Go Gators" outlined in gold. Even the street's name was STEVE SPURRIER LANE.

Bowden was very disgusted. He asked god, "You mean after all my national championships, first round draft picks, attending church every Sunday, and being a good fatherly influence to countless misguided players, you want to give me this run-down piece of shit and Steve gets that big house?"

I was raised in Gator Country, and I will always be a Gator fan. I live in Colorado now, but will forever bleed orange and blue (not for the Broncos). My brother Walt is the biggest Gator fan I know. PROPS TO YOU for creating one of the most informative Gator sites on the web. I have been searching for pre-1980's historical info and your site has given me the only info so far. Excellent work chronicling the entire season results since 1906. Definitely did your homework. Suggestions - would be nice to see a history of the SEC, also season stats could use a little formatting (win-loss, etc.), also all time records vs. all teams would be pretty nifty. Keep up the great work!

This is great because I am starved for news about the Gators out here in Texas. The Gators and the SEC get no coverage in this area. I think fsuSUCKS.com is great. I enjoyed reading the material in it and I appreciate the work you have put into it. Right now I am a H.S. freshman but I plan to attend UF. I became a GATOR fan in 94 when I first began watching football. Ever since then the GATORS have gien me such wonderful memories. My favorite though is the 96 nat'l championship. As the father of a UF class of 2000 Engineering student, I hope you will welcome me as you would an alumnus. I just finished listening to the Gator Sports Network broadcast of the UCF game tonight. There's no better music to the ears than listening to a Mic Hubert "OH MY!!" after a Gator TD.

I also enjoyed having James Bates do the Sports Channel broadcast from Lakeland last night. Lakeland High School, my youngest daughter's high school, provided Wayne Peace and David Williams to the Gators so we are all proud of our heritage with UF.

What a shame to see how gator "fans" turn on the players when things don't go their way. All of these people blaming their kicker should try blaming a defense that allowed 40 points to a team that LOST to La. Tech (A team FSU crushed) at home. They should blame a coaching staff with egos so large that they didn't prepare the team properly, a staff that allowed themselves to get too cocky after a "big" win over UT, a team that the next week beat Memphis 17-16.
