| A football Saturday
at Florida Field weaves together a number of happenings
that have become traditions for those who go to the
Swamp. One of these (former) traditions are the Gator Fans getting
"riled-up" by George Edmondson, a.k.a.
"Mr. Two Bits". Mr. Edmondson, a Tampa
insurance salesman, used to race around the Florida
Field stands, leading his popular chant: "Two Bits, Four Bits, Six bits, a Dollar, All for the Gators, Stand up and Holler" Sound Clip He does this while decked out in a yellow shirt and checked pants. He did this for 45+ years. |
