9/23 Florida 59 Kentucky 31

No Contest in a slug fest (kinda)!!  Palmer runs for 4 TDs?  YES!!!

Florida put the icing on the cake with a TD play with 5 seconds left.  That ought to teach Hal Mumme to not pad stats.  with about 1:30 left, the UK offense continued to run their offense instead of laying down and run on the clock.  Well, Spurrier told Grossman to throw long and we connected for a TD.

Throughout the game, our defense showed a two-face, split personality as they continue to miss tackles, but made big plays for turnovers.  While the Gators (4-0, 2-0 SEC) took command with two touchdowns off turnovers in a span of 49 seconds late in the first half, the defense never could solve Kentucky and its 275-pound quarterback Jared Lorenzen.

It was a good win.  A win that continues our SEC East winning streak and positions us in the lead of the SEC East.

Palmer finally got into the Gators' record books Saturday, although not the way anyone expected. He accounted for five touchdowns, four of them rushing to tie a school record, as the Gators beat Kentucky for the 14th straight time, 59-31.

AS we move into the rough part of the SEC Schedule, the Gators need to improve their defense.  I expect to see better tackling.
