Game Notes

These two teams have never played before.  I expect a massacre and Coach Spurrier to test many of his players with an as usual "run-it-up" against an underrated opponent.  UCF is coming in for a big payday and leaving with a huge black eye.  Lets hope the Gators  can utilize this game to tune-up the offense and defense and prepare for Tennessee next week.  UCF does not have their NFL draft pick QB Culpepper, and the Gators will be looking to tune those defensive and offensive playbooks in order to be ready for the Volunteers.

Doug Johnson will most likely face a zone coverage which will make Doug Johnson see a similar style defense as Tennessee.  The new QB of UCF came from the SEC/South Carolina, but he is no Culpepper.  He will be swallowed by the Gator "D".  From the backfield the Gators should continue to improve with Earnest Graham taking the bigger load with 25 carries and over 100+ yards.  UCF was given a woodshed beating last weak against a #3/#4 team in the Big 10, expect the same this week.

The UF defense should improve.  They should expect to keep UCF out of the end-zone.  Anything else would be disappointing.

This will be the 29th consecutive home win, the longest streak in the country.  The Gators will most likely play all started for 2 or 3 quarters and the bench will clear.
