| Finally the Gators BLOW someone out early and
throughout the game, and with Ohio St. loosing our "little luck" is starting to
begin. Winning out will guarantee a spot in the BCS bowl set. The Gators still had their share of mistakes by committing three turnovers, but against a sorry opponent like Vanderbilt, Florida is just too much. Doug Johnson looked good in the winter gear and Travis McGriff caught clutch passes to keep drives alive. Doug Johnson threw for 460 yards and four touchdowns as the Gators routed Vanderbilt 45-13 Saturday in a game in which the score could have been worse. Spurrier, broke a tie with former Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer with his 91st victory at Florida for most victories in the first nine years by a major college coach. What a nine-year run we have had. Doug Johnson's 460 yards was 2 yards short of Danny Wuerffel's single-game school record. The Gators' defense was more than enough to stop a Vandy offense playing without its starting quarterback and tailback. Lets start getting ready for fsu!!
