10/31 Florida 38 Dawgs 7
| How sweet it is!!! I do not care how many mistakes we make against UGA, beating them is the greatest win of the season (SEC win). 38-7 makes it even better. Steve Spurrier put the finishing touches yesterday when he scored a needless touchdown and smiled at the Georgia coach while Donnan just grinded his teeth. HA!! Remember last year silly canines!! By calling the reverse at the end of the game, Coach Spurrier proved once more that our goal in Jacksonville was not just win, but humiliate UGA. With more Holoween tricks Johnson scored by receiving a touchdown on a throw by McGriff. It was a beauty. Georgia was out hustled, out played, and out smarted. Florida had to make there typical share of mistakes, but the Dawgs did not capitalize of Florida's mistake. Playing in front of a record 84,321 fans at Alltel Stadium -- with Georgia fans on the west side and Florida's on the east -- the Gators outgained the Bulldogs 197-11 through the first 13 minutes and took a 21-0 lead. I was a little late to see the first quarter, but 21-0 was a great start. From that point forward, Florida set the tempo and was running/passing at will. They played great and they are now hitting their stride in preparation for fsu. There are some scenarios that put Florida in the BCS, but it is highly unlikely. It would be great to see UT loose in the SEC Champ game... Now we have two easy games and then the big game in tally-land.
