About the name. Why (formerly) fsuSUCKS?
| fsuSUCKS.com is a hobby that I maintain during
evenings and after the games on Saturday. It is
entirely FREE of charge and no passwords are required. It is intended to be fun, with
great information, and downloadable multimedia content. Expect great game previews
and commentary after the games. I dont do much when we lose... I am a proud Florida Graduate from the School of Business/1988. So by definition I hate fsu. Hence, the name of the site - fsuSUCKS. However, Florida State University is a fine institution and I have nothing but respect for their students, faculty, and academic programs. I just can't stand their football team. This is an honest, down and dirty rivalry. i.e. Bowden and company can go 0-11 and I (as well as many Gators) would love that. Florida could go 1-10 as long as the sole victory is fsu... that would be fine (this is impossible these days). Finally, and most importantly, I would like to thank all Gators (and non-Gators) out there for their support and great feedback. Your comments and great feedback (good and bad) is what keeps this hobby going. fsuSUCKS.com is in no way linked with nor does it express the views of the University of Florida or any other organization posted on the fsuSUCKS web site. It exists because I bleed Orange and Blue. Certain portion such as logos, pictures and videos are copyright to their respective parties. Enjoy the site. | About the name When I stated this project in early August, 1997, I wanted a catchy name and something that would be remembered. As Gators, we all love to hate fsu. Hence the name fsuSUCKS.com. However, DO NOT LET THE NAME GET TO YOU!! Its all fun and games. This is our fiercest rival. So, don't let the site name offend you. Please , no death threats, no email flames, and no profanity on the forum. Lets just have fun with this....:-) I have had to rename the URL to igo4uf.com, for legal reasons. If you are an offended Gator or a pissed off fsu fan, deal with your own denial and problems on your own. You will get ignored by the TONS of Gators fans that love the name and the contents of this site. However, you may express you opinion by sending mail to igo4uf or if you want your thoughts to be public, sign the guest book but leave a real email address (fsu fans like to be anonymous since they usually have tasteless comments).
